The basics of violetglass are the permanent stimulation and charging of the molecule structure of a substance. This is practicable by penetration of the UV-range (stimulating) and the Infrared-range (charging) trough the glass.

Violetglass makes it possible to let the invisible Ultraviolet light and the visible Violet light (ca.380-420 Nanometer ca.35%) together with the Infrared light (ca. 730-1050 Nanometer ca.45%) trough the glass while the visible range of the sun (red, bleu, yellow, green) are blocked.
